Wick'd Bean

Summer begins officially on Wednesday, and we're beginning a whole new 'season' here at The Blissful Soul. We have three new amazing candle lines, alongside the ever-popular soy candles by Wick'd Bean. Made right here in Eagle Rock by our good friend Sandra Encinas, Wick'd Bean candles are made from environmentally-friendly soybeans, domestically grown without chemicals. Do something good for the environment and US farmers just by lighting a single candle!

Inbal
If you're looking for beautiful aromatherapy candles that illuminate from within as they burn, come see the new candles from Inbal. The aromatherapy line contains essential oil blends, like lavender, ylang ylang, and cedarwood for "Evening Tranquility." The same blends are also available in oil form, so you can keep the scent alive, throughout your home. Inbal also makes Feng Shui candles, complete with Earth, Wood, Water, Metal, and Fire symbols. All are handmade in the US.

Our third new line, Aloha Bay, will be arriving later this week. These candles are made from Fair Trade palm wax and come in a wide variety of jars, tapers, pillars, and votives. They are beautiful and affordable!

We also have fun red-white-and blue candles for your 4th of July celebrations, and, while they last, some beautiful SALE candles for the low price of $3 to $5! If you are a candle lover, come see all the new lines at The Blissful Soul.
The magical and mystical Kirsten Schilling Stackhouse of Ariel Healing will be here on WEDNESDAY, June 21, at 7 pm for a celebration of the Summer Solstice. Learn about the herbs and oils with solar properties and those that are traditionally used to celebrate the summer solstice. The session will close with a meditation reflecting on the solstice, specifically invoking the support and assistance of the solar goddesses.

Herb and flower-based refreshments will be served, and each participant will receive a solar charm. The cost of this event is just $15 plus $3.00 materials fee. Note that this event has a limited availability, so let us know right away if you're coming! RSVP 323-258-6900.
Summertime
The kids are out of school (or will be soon), and we're heading into the Lazy Days of Summer! Starting Monday, June 26, we'll be open:
  • 10 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday
  • 10 am to 6 pm, Saturdays

*We'll be closed Sunday July 2 through Tuesday, July 4 for the holiday. Celebrate Independence!
Millionaire Mind
I've just returned from the Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI) weekend, and it was life-altering. I don't say this lightly. The MMI was recommended to me by a trusted friend, but I thought it would be a long, boring weekend about budgeting, investing, and blah blah blah. I was in for shock.
