Dear Cheryl,

We want to thank all of you who chose to do some of your holiday shopping at The Blissful Soul. We thought life would slow down after the holidays, but we find ourselves busier than ever. We have our one year anniversary party, candle sales, psychic readings, and a Brigid's Day Celebration all coming up in the next month. Kimberly
Psychic Kimberly Berg will return to The Blissful Soul on Sunday, January 22 at 4pm for a session called "Seeking Guidance: What Your Guides Want You to Know." In Kimberly's past two sessions, she has given a mini-reading for every person present (limit 20). Kimberly has been named the "American Idol Psychic" by Entertainment Tonight, has been featured in W magazine, and many other television and print media. Kimberly's prior sessions have been immensely popular, so RSVP soon to reserve your spot. The event charge is $25
Brigid's Day Celebration on January 29th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.. We'll celebrate the spirit of Brigid at this session with Kirsten Schilling Stackhouse, Herbal Historian and Aromatherapist. Brigid is the patron of women, of poetry, smithcraft, and of the hearth. She is also a Goddess of the fairies or nature spirits.

Historically, Brigid's Day was a time for celebrating the return of the Sun, therefore new life, after the long, dark winter. At the onset of Catholicism in Ireland, the Goddess Brigid became Saint Brigit.

Kirsten, a candlemaker, likes to celebrate Brigid's Day by making candles sacred to Her. A materials fee of five dollars will include a Brigid candle. These candles are symbolic of the hope and potential inherent in our New Year, and the approaching spring, or in any other fresh, new beginning you wish to mark. We will light them in a short meditation at the end of our class and they can be lit again on February 1-2.

Please bring your own votive holder. RSVP by Friday January 27th to ensure that enough candles are available. $5.00 materials fee and donations for Kirsten's time will be accepted.

We'll celebrate our One Year Anniversary on Saturday, February 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. with free music, food, wine, and tea. Come let us thank you for your friendship and patronage!
